1 Overview
-FIREYE INSIGHT series flame detector 95IR, 95UV, 95DS is a microprocessor-based design of a flame detector , using a solid-state infrared sensor (IR), ultraviolet sensor (UV) and dual sensor (IR + UV) .
-FIREYE INSIGHT series flame detectors with internal flame relay , can adjust the ON / OFF thresholds , so no remote flame amplifier.
-INSIGHT series with the principle and characteristics of flame detection of FIREYE DPD flame detector can detector one burner or more burners with or without the target under the condition of the flame.
-INSIGHT series measure the amplitude of the modulations (the flame “flicker”) that occur within the targeted flame. During the scanner set-up procedure, the modulation frequency that yields the best flame ON/OFF discrimination is selected. The appropriate modulation frequency and sensor gain is either manually selected (S1 models), or automatically selected with manual override capability (S2 models).
-FIREYE INSIGHT series flame detectors require 24VDC power supply , with a quick 12-pin connector , electronic self-test function ( no need for mechanical shutter ) . Detector with an 8 numbers / letters LED display and four buttons , easy to observe the user to select operating parameters and settings .
2. Model
INSIGHT 95IR, 95UV and 95DS detector due to different functions, features, divided into two types: -Standard S1: The model has three kinds of flame flicker frequency selectable; sensor gain is adjustable; flame relay ON / OFF thresholds adjustable; (4 ~ 20) mA analog output signal strength; fault relay output; 2 optional programming file to store the settings (for different fuel or combustion ratio);
-Extended S2: This model adds automatic programming function with manual ignore (auto-tuning) function; 21 kinds of flame flicker frequency selection; 4 optional programming file to store the settings; also adds the remote communication based on WINDOWS 95 / 98/NT user application software.
3. Application
Model IR-including an infrared flame sensor response infrared spectra (700-1700) nm wavelength. This sensor is suitable for the case of fuel oil and coal.
Model UV-including a UV flame sensor response ultraviolet spectrum of (295-320) nm wavelength. This sensor is suitable for the case of fuel gas and light oil.
Model DS-Both sensors, including the infrared and ultraviolet two flame sensor that is suitable to the case of multi-fuel.
Standard S1-suitable for mixing without aiming, in many cases do not require scalability S2 has a remote communication capabilities. (Such as single-burner boilers and furnaces, tube burners, etc.)
Extended S2-best suited to applications requiring high resolution, high sensitivity (auto-tuning function increases Frequency Selection and provincial) and remote communications functionality. (Such as large multi-burner boilers and furnaces)
