Intelligent On-line Soot-blowing System

1.Overview

ND shock wave Soot-blower is a new product to remove the surface ash of air apreheater, economizer, super heater and furnace heat exchanger of the large boiler.

 

During the boiler operation, generated fouling on heat transfer surface will weaken the flue gas heat exchange between the working fluid and the increased flue gas resistance, lower thermal efficiency, increased fuel consumption, affecting the normal operation of the boiler. In industrial boilers, sometimes the tail fouling can cause heat exchanger corrosion and run the risk of operating the boiler. Different types of soot blower means are mostly mounted on large and medium running boilers, e.g., steam ash, hydraulic ash, ash ball, sonic or ultrasonic ash and the like. However, there are different problems exiting on the ash devices widely.

 

ND soot blower shock wave with high energy, enough to produce a shock wave breaking fouling layer, which has a good effect of soot blower, and its low operating costs, simple operation, safe and reliable.

 

2.System Components  

ND shock Soot-blower consists of three parts: main generator parts, control parts and working parts. Main generator parts include air and gas mixer, mixer ignition, layer distributor and various control valves, pressure sensors and flow rates controlling the intake and layer. Control parts include a control cabinet and the host computer (optional); working parts include shock generator and shock vents.

 

2.1 Generator Parts

The generator parts is completely controlled by the control part, to open and close each working valves chronologically, determine the amount of gas filling, mixing ratio of gas and air and working-layer selection , and ignite the gas mixture to make deflagration flame and then passed to working part of the shock wave generator through  flame catheter.

 

2.2 Control Parts

ND shock soot-blower is automatically controlled by the control cabinet of the control parts. Operating parameters of the control cabinet can be set, including the work number of the working layer and the intensity control of shock wave, and interval to wait each detonation. It can be equipped with a main control room host computer (optional). The host computer has the same control cabinet and control functions, it can control the implementation of the entire system by taking over control of the control cabinet. Relation between the computer and the control cabinet knob is set by a state of the control cabinet, and this knob is in control. When the control cabinet is in control, the host computer is used as a monitor terminal only; when the host computer is in control, the control cabinet is only used as a control device. The control cabinet communicates with the host computer via a standard serial port.
